The BioHD-CS12 is a high-sensitivity color CMOS camera designed to deliver superior high-resolution imaging for demanding life science applications. Equipped with a 12 MP Sony IMX676 sensor, it captures sharp, high-detail images at a resolution of 3536 × 3536 pixels. This square sensor format, paired with a 2.0µm X 2.0µm pixel size, provides an optimal balance between resolution and light sensitivity, making it ideal for fluorescence microscopy.
To enhance workflow efficiency, the CS12 features a USB 3.0 high-speed interface, supporting frame rates of up to 27 fps at full resolution. For applications requiring an expanded field of view, the 1/1.6" sensor can be paired with a 0.5 x C-mount adapter to capture larger sample areas in a single frame, significantly reducing the need for image stitching.
The camera offers a flexible IR filter configuration to suit various research needs. It comes standard with an IR-cut filter for accurate color fidelity, which can be replaced with an optional AR-coated glass window for enhanced sensitivity in the near-infrared (NIR) region.
